October 2022 Workshop: Treatment of Children and Teens with ASD
Friday, October 07, 2022, 7:15 PM - 9:15 PM EDT
Category: Workshops

Presented by Sagit Vishnia, Psy.D.

The families of children and teens with ASD often seek psychotherapy for their children for a variety of reasons. This is especially true when high functioning children with ASD are involved. Once in therapy, there are some unique features of ASD that at times can be perceived as roadblocks to successful treatment. This workshop will discuss the unique ways in which psychological treatment of children with ASD can be modified to maximize efficacy, regardless of the therapist’s expertise or theoretical orientation.
