With increasing awareness of the unique experiences of gender minorities and continued political focus on the rights and lives of these individuals, it is a critical time to gain competency about the needs of transgender, gender non-conforming, and nonbinary (TGNC) individuals. Attendees will be first given an overview of basic terminology and concepts that will extend to discussion about broader implications of clinical practice when working with TGNC populations across a range of presenting concerns.
